What the team needs to do, before the Olympics, is to practice free-throw shooting, 3-point shooting, and 2-point shooting from outside the paint. If these aspects of their game are even slightly improved, D'Tigress will win a medal in Japan, no doubt about it.

BTW, the NBBF should contact both Erica and Olivia Ogwumike - sisters of Nneka and Chiney Ogwumike - and try to convince them to play for Nigeria. Erica is a guard, while Olivia is a star forward.

D’Tigress are the only African women’s basketball team to have won a match at the Olympics. They defeated Korea 68-64 at the 2004 Olympics to finish in 11th (out of 12) place.
