What are the ways science and technology change the world?

Looking at the way science and technology is becoming more advance

Since we are in the era it is becoming more advance

what are the advantages and what are the disadvantages

just as an adage says that
fire is a useful servant but a dangerous master

so also is technology in it own era
technology is equally a useful servant but a dangerous master

but it has advantages which it has help we human in a much good and better way

and the disadvantages are:

1. Destruction of environment: you may be wondering why it is being added

now we have dams around which we use in generating power for the country and also serve as means of fishing
but what happens when the waters are being released

2. Deployment: yes this is one of the disadvantage which had make things complicated

example: farmers,this is a better example to use
years ago farmer work manually on farms;until when through technology farm work are more faster and easier to we human which is also one of the advantage we could get from it
but what of farmers that got deployed due to the new technology
