Running away from the police is not democracy. Insults are no substitute for legal process of determining who is guilty and who is not.

Who told you he is running away from the police ? He was on his way to their office to honour thier invitation and the stopped him form going...Saraki is in his house as we speak being stopped from going to the police station

Saraki can only run, he can't hide forever. He will be caught and made to face the full wrath of the law. Now, we can all see why the police and DSS stormed his residence this morning. He should be smoked out from where ever hole he's hiding.

Abeg carry your yeye news commot here.

Why would Saraki went underground? I seriously blame Saraki he should have decamp long ago all these show of shame would have just be a mere baboons tree branches games.

Ortom stood his ground, Shehu Sanni stood his ground has anyone bothers them. Saraki leave apc before they kill you, be man and be bold safe yourself all these hassles.

Decamping will even help saraki the better because any attempt on him will be seen as intimidating the opposition and his voice will be heard around the globe and people will stand for him.

Senate President Bukola Saraki may have gone into hiding following the invitation extended to him by the police to report and answer questions relating to the armed robbery in Offa in April.

The police had on Monday night said Saraki should appear at its Intelligence Response Team at Guzape in Abuja by 8.am today.

However, Saraki in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Yusuph Olaniyonu last night accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of being behind the fresh police invitation.
When our correspondent went to Saraki's house at about 8.am this morning at Maitama District, it was observed ‎that only few vehicles were parked with only few people carrying out their normal activities.

It was later learnt that Saraki's residence had come under siege by some policemen but that they later left even before our correspondent's arrival.

When our correspondent contacted Olaniyonu about the whereabouts of his principal, he said he could not confirm as he had no access to the house.
He said he was in the residence early in the morning and that when he saw "massive police deployment on the street," he decided to leave.

Also, the spokesman to Ike Ekweremadu, the Deputy Senate President, Uche Anichukwu, said on telephone that his principal's house was under siege by the police.

You are a learner in politics my friend. You will see what will play out in the coming hours. I am not a fan of Saraki but the way he outsmarted the executive this time shows he is smart. Bookmark this post

With the fund at his disposal, he could have pushed for impeachment to rattle Buhari and keep him in check. But each time impeachment was brought up in the Senate, he struck it out. He may end up being impeached himself.

Hmm...the robbery case has been on going before the R-APC saga. So we should let the case slide because Saraki is involved? See the way everyone is taking sides as if he is a hero of democracy, Nigerians what is wrong with us? If this guy has been linked to a big crime that claimed lots of lives and properties, why cant he honour the police invitation?
