MORE than 10,000 job-seekers have accessed the police website to download forms for recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force, two days after the commencement of the police recruitment exercise.

Mr Emmanuel Ojukwu (ACP), Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), made the disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, on Tuesday.

Ojukwu described response by job-seekers into the force as “tremendous.”

He said that various FPROs in state commands have been given directives on how to respond to enquiries on the recruitment exercise to enable young Nigerians access the website.

Ojukwu said at the end of the exercise on June 22, the number of those who visited the website to access forms for jobs would be made known.

NAN recalled that the FPRO had in a statement on Sunday, announced that the police would from June 14, recruit about 40,000 personnel into the Constable Cadre.

looking for quality from frustrated people ? I doubt that because most of them only see the police force as a last hope not because they really wanted a career out of it.

If only the recruitment process can be free and fair.

We all know what will happen.
