Much expected Presidential election is fast approaching and political alignment and realignment is on going. So we conducted this survey on chances of PDP against President M. Bihari and here is the result of they grand survey. Starting from Southern Nigeria.
We did this in 2015 and result represented our unbiased survey.

SOUTH EAST
Imo.................PDP leads with 70%
Anambra.........PDP leads with 80%
Enugu.............. PDP leads with 80%
Abia................. PDP leads with 77%
Ebonyi..............PDP leads with 78%
So PDP will effortlessly sweep South east and APC will be humiliated again with massive margin.

South South
Akwa-Ibom.... PD leads with 68%
Bayelsa.......... PDP leads with 75%
Delta.........,... PDP leads with 70%
C-Rivers......... PDP leads with 90%
Rivers............ PDP leads with 64%
Edo................ APC leads with 59%
APC also has strong presence in Rivers, Edo and Delta States.

South West
Ekiti............. APC leads with 74%
Ondo........... APC leads with 77%
Osun ........... APC leads with 78%
Oyo...............APC leads 76%
Ogun............ APC leads with 70%
Lagos............ APC leads with 71%
PDP will perform poorly in southwest

NORTH CENTRAL
Kwara........... PDP leads with 68%
Benue.......... . PDP leads with 69%
Kogi.............. APC leads with 58%
Plateau.......... APC leads with 60%
Niger.............. APC leads with 84%
Nasarawa...... APC leads with 66%
PDP will garner massive vote will lead with slight margin.

NORTH EAST
Adamawa........... APC leads with 62%
Borno.................APC leads with 89%
Bauchi......,......... APC leads with 78%
Yobe.................... APC leads with 90%
Gombe................ PDP leads with 68%
Taraba. ............... PDP Leads with 65%
PDP will not perform poorly but APC will lead.

NORTH WEST
Kano................. APC leads with 83%
Kaduna............... APC leads with 80%
Kebbi.................... APC Leads with 90%
Sokoto.................. APC leads with 77%
Katsina................. APC leads with 90%
Jigawa.................. APC leads with 79%
Zamfara.............. APC leads with 90%
APC will dominate and PDP will perform poorly in north west.
So PDP has 14 states while APC has 22 states.

With Buhari as APC candidate and Atiku as PDP candidate, APC will lose NC and NE. SW will be 50/50 as Lagos will deal a death blow on total APC votes in SW. Noth West is APC snd Buhari's stronghold, no doubt about that, but Atiku, Kwankwaso and Tambulwa impact will definitely whittle successes in 2015. Again OP thinks that 2019 is going to be between GEJ and Buhari. This time, no religious sentiments. It is North versus North. The South hold the swing votes.

There should be a more thorough thoughts over this permutation. I do not think APC has it all clear in the Southwest as you postulated, may be it will have the overall larger votes but not your percentages. I think you must understand as well that southwest voters are sensitive to economic performances og governments and this may drag down the votes of the APC which has not done well in the areas of the economy.

It may not just be a case of APC vs PDP it would just have been better if there could be a third force which would provide opportunity for south west voters. APC winning in Ekiti, Osun and Ogun can be difficult but with PDP already facing crises in two of these three, APC can coast to victory but the margin, maybe 53% TO 46% overall, its going to be close especially if other candidates will be worth it in terms of corrupt free candidates.

I know APC wont win probably in the Niger Delta excluding Edo, the South east and if the current status quo remains Kwara, Plateau, Adamawa, Taraba and may be Gombe and Nasarawa.

Pdp apologists will never change.While they nag about votes allocated to Apc in some regions,they see nothing wrong in the votes allocated to pdp in SE/SS.I can assure you that the Apc has grown stronger in these regions since 2015.There's no way pdp can deliver 80% votes for a fellow northern candidate like buhari in any of the SE/SS states.You can take this to the bank.

APC will win next elections. They are carrying 24 states comfortably. The big bonuses are inner strides into Akwa Ibom, Delta, Cross Rivers and Ebonyi. Imo will vote APC wholesale since its an all Fulani contest. Oyo might flip PDP narrowly because of Ibadan politics. Kwara and Kogi are NOT weak for Buhari inspite of Saraki. Buhari's CPC won 25% Kwara in 2011. A PC has to field a wicked candidate to counter Saraki here and spend large sums of money.

I suspect heavyweight PDP defectors like Kwakwanso, Lamido and/or Shekarau are not Atiku leaning. If they don't get PDP ticket, their supporters will swing Buhari wholesale.
