The minister of State for Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika, has denied channels television report on public servants must fly Nigeria air. The minister who tweeted a while ago said he never mention Nigeria Air rather all Nigerian Carriers.

The minister also noted that the government does not kill business instead, the promote it.

The information on Channels TV is not correct. I never said public servants must fly Nigeria Air. If there will be such a policy, it will be to fly all Nigerian registered carriers. The intention of Government is to promote businesses not to kill them.

According to the Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika, the government is making moves to have the National Assembly pass a ‘Fly Nigeria Act’. This act would compel any public servant travelling on a ticket bought with public funds to travel on a Nigerian carrier.

I don't pity channels TV. They sold out. Arise and TVC news are the stations to watch for in-depth analysis of situations in Nigeria.

Arise TV is on point. .. . Intense yet polite probing questions, not the semi illiterate philosophy waxing of maupe Chamberlain and co, or the noise making of okinbaloye.... Or their deliberate non coverage of critical events? Channels TV has become more or less a private arm of the NTA....
