Activate The Fear Factor And Make Sales Online

Have you ever heard or seen rushing to pay for item in before the day runs out? Or have you personally tried to pay for an item in a store early in the morning before someone else do? I believe you now get my point because there is something that actually moves you to want to pay BEFORE OTHERS. What could that be? Activate the fear factor and make sales online is in fact a strategy used throughout marketing in general – extremely effective in Online Marketing. If you believe you possibly will miss your flight (FEAR), you will more likely take immediate ACTION (BUY).

Why This Strategy?
This is the most interesting part of this marketing technique is that you will not only be made to see how important a particular item is to you but you will also be given limited time to pay for the item. They want you to believe that failure to meet up such time will mean you missing out from the opportunity to buy. In effect they activate the FEAR factor; fear of failure or fear of missing out. Which is why we see LOTS of websites with ‘offer ends at midnight’ or similar slapped all over the sales page. What is the point? TO MAKE YOU TAKE ACTION. BUY!

How to Activate the Fear Factor
To get the best out of this strategy, a good technique is required. It’s how you WORD YOUR SALES LETTER that really open the pores of people’s veins and gets their blood pumping. Let’s take an example. You write what you believe to be a converting sales letter. You also add your “call to action” such as: “Hurry. This Offer Ends Soon!” This call to action is what really motivates people to response to your offer. But the bad news here is that you have not been able to instill FEAR, fear of losing out of your opportunity. Why? When you say: “Hurry This Offer Ends Soon!” you have not given people any reason panic. WHEN precisely is “soon”?

With such a wide definition in terms of time it doesn’t really sounds scary enough. If you are given these offers, which one will you take? “Learn the secret to making $10,000 SOON for just $49.” Or “Learn the secret to making $10,000 in 24 HOURS for just $49.” Which of these will you go for? $10,000 in 24 hours, right? Sure. This is because a specific time for making $10,000 is mentioned and it prompts the most action.

Whereas, soon could be two days, two weeks, 2 months or even 2 years from now. It is great for marketers to try and keep their “special offer” alive for an undisclosed amount of time (they make more sales). Some insert a little javascript counter in a sales letter for each individual that gains access to the sales page with his email address. The counter counts down 24 – 48 hours indicating that the individual has less time to pay for the product else he will lose out completely. ...continue reading https://www.maxdiba.com/business/activate-the-fear-factor-and-make-sales-online/
