Being good with money isn't as hard as it seems. And no, you don't have to go to a special school or visit a financial analyst of a consultant all the time to know how to be good with money.

It’s all about doing four things well:

Spend Money well.
Yes, you read that right. This might seem like the opposite of what you were expecting. You could be thinking, ‘isn’t this what we should stay away from doing if we want to be good with money?’ or ‘Isn’t spending bad?’ Not at all.
Spending money is a key part of managing your money well, and I don’t mean it in the don’t spend it at all way. Figuring out how you’re currently spending your cash, and whether it’s making you happy and making life more comfortable for you, is the first step you can take to getting great with your money.
For instance, the other day at the store, you saw an improved version of a home appliance or gadget you use and it’s added functions are exactly what you need to make life more comfortable for you. Then, you check the price and you think it is too expensive? No, it’s not. Spending money on the things you need to make life more comfortable worth every penny, especially if it also gives you more time to do other important things.

Save money.
Saving is the key to all the big, fun, exciting things you want to do, whether it’s buying a house, getting the best car, taking a big vacation, the list is endless. And sure, it’s not the easiest thing to do, but there are strategies with added benefits you can use to get started no matter what you have. For instance, some financial institutions now allow you to save and earn up to 10% more on your savings. What else could motivate you more to start saving if not having more money when you start saving. It might be the drops you need to start gathering your ocean if you start saving today.

Make a budget.
Once you’ve got a handle on your spending and saving, this is the easy part, and budgeting doesn’t mean depriving yourself of anything and everything. It’s just a way to figure out how you’re going to use the money you have to live the life you want, usually on a monthly basis. Budgeting is more of prioritizing your spending, deciding what to buy first and what is not necessary until later.

Invest your money.
This is a non-negotiable, even if you’re convinced investing is too hard, or that you don’t have enough money, don’t worry Page Financials is got you covered. Investing your money is the best way to build wealth and retire rich, and there are totally approachable options available that you can start with as little as N200, 000 these days with a prestigious financial institution like Page Financials you can trust.

Getting good with money isn’t as difficult or out of the ordinary right? Start budgeting, spending, saving and investing now.
