Expressing his gratitude to the Ambassador for his dedication to the postgraduate partnership with the university as highlighted by his visit to the institution in 2017, the Vice-Chancellor also thanked the envoy for making it possible for him to meet with the French President, Emmanuel Macron in the course of his official visit to Nigeria recently. The Vice-Chancellor also used the opportunity to request for more admission quota for staff in the Social Sciences and Humanities in order to balance the impact of the postgraduate collaboration across the university. While expressing his delight on the progress France has made in its relationships with Nigeria, the envoy noted that the postgraduate collaboration with Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State was the zenith of his achievement in the country, pledging to work towards expanding it to other mutual-benefiting areas.
