Since separatists declared an independent 'Ambazonia' state in south Cameroon, tens of thousands have fled violence into Nigeria and relief workers are struggling to keep up.

Relief workers in southern Nigeria are struggling to cope with a new wave of refugees fleeing Cameroon.

Fighting began in October when separatists declared an independent state they call "Ambazonia" in the south.

Since the fighting started, an estimated 30,000 have been crossing the border into Nigeria and more arriving as the violence continues.

Al Jazeera's Ahmed Idris reports from the Cameroon-Nigeria border.
