An Ebute Meta Leader Magistrates’ Courtroom in Lagos, on Tuesday, remanded a 47-year-old guy, Premie Imafidon, for allegedly slapping his spouse to loss of life.

Imafidon is going through a one-count rate of homicide.

The Prosecutor, Sgt. Maria Dauda, instructed the courtroom that the accused dedicated the offence on June 15 round 7.00 pm at No. 25, Apata St., Agege, Lagos.She mentioned that the accused slapped his spouse, Hope who used to be 42, which led to her loss of life.



The offence contravened Phase 224 of the Prison Regulation of Lagos State, 2015.

The Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) experiences that Phase 224 stipulates loss of life sentence for homicide.The Leader Justice of the Peace, Mrs A.O. Ajibade, remanded Imafidon in Ikoyi Prisons and ordered that the case report be despatched to the State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for recommendation.



Ajibade adjourned the case till Sept. 3
