NABAMS PRESIDENT SUSPENDED INDEFINITELY
It was shocker and a display of a democratic dividend in the department of Business Administration Studies, the Polytechnic, Ibadan after the departmental association president Comrade Salami Victor was suspended by the Legislative body of the association. The suspension was declared by the speaker of the house after the presidents was found culpable to some allegations raised against him. One of these major allegations include the personal budget which was presented by the president. Below is the sketch of the budget presented to the house:

Also one of the allegation laid against the president was that he does not always give regard to the legislative arm. “Whenever an issue is taken to the legislative body I don’t always get the feedback as when necessary “- as responded by the President. The chief whip, Hon Dada Julius claimed that the time frame in which the executives gave them to treat the budget was very short which makes it difficult most times for them to be unable to review it. The president was asked about how he go about the budget since it wasn’t reviewed by the legislative arm and he replied by saying “it was treated in the department and that was what gave them the go ahead to continue with the orientation.”. The other allegations include
Selling of NABAMS receipt at the rate #1,000, #1,500 and even making the examination hall as collection point. This was reported to have even caused a rift between the president and treasurer.
