As three Governors and members of the National Assembly defects from the ruling party All Progressive Congress (APC), rejoining back to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), another member of the House of Representatives, Hon Salisu Zakari Ningi, representing Ningi/ Warji Federal constituency has formally dumped APC and reunites with his former party PDP.


Hon Salisu Ningi while speaking with newsmen yesterday, Hon Salisu Ningi revealed that he has formally decided to parted ways with the ruling party, APC due to some political reasons he mentioned and headed back to the PDP.

Speaking further on the reasons why he dumped the ruling party, Hon Ningi said so many reasons forced him to throw in the towel in the ruling party, especially his differences with the state Governor, Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar and the absence of development projects in his constituency.

“the speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Yakubu Dogara and other stakeholders were not consulted by the ruling party in the state, when it comes to making appointments. Considerations were not given to some of us that form part of the stakeholders in the state” he said.
