pyruvateluv: I don't think it will fly if you got the job with your secondary school certificate. But if diploma certificate, then it will definitely count (if it falls under NOC A, B or 0). |

For those asking about biometrics, apparently you are not required to anymore where the one you provided is still valid......that was not the case when I did it last month, it clearly said you were still required to....I guess they changed the rule.

Hi niobe77 oladainty fameli sugaro chiobich GlitteringStar ifeoma77 ... and anyone else who can help I've my ECA and IELTS ready (CRS: 460+) but need advice as per your experiences/advise with a bun in the oven (EDD: late May 2019). I've gone through your posts (Part 4 sef) but I see more of info about adding a newborn to the process. I've also done a bit of research on canadavisa but I'd like to hear from Naija experience. I have all docs and POF (covering bun) ready. 1) Will the X-ray delay my wife's Medical till after birth? If YES, how does it affect the other processes? (I've read Medical is first after AOR) 2) At what stage is POF checked? and can I spend the money after that stage? In summary, I want to know how long the funds should be intact after I receive ITA Or when I should have the funds ready to be checked so I can plan well cuz right now I can't afford to have that amount of money lying dormant till EDD. I can clarify if necessary. Thanks |

GlitteringStar:Good afternoon. In a situation where the date of induction and medical license was given on for example Dec 2016, internship started on April 2017 and date on statement of result is May 2017. What should be chosen as date qualified to practice and also would the work experience count from April or May? Thank you. |

If your hubby isn't the PA, why do you need an EOR? He has already given you 18 points out of a possible 20. My advice to you is that you calculate your CRS and if it exceeds 445 then let it go because the remark will just waste your time except you guys aren't ready to jump into the pool. Anyway if you still insist on an EOR you will have to first raise a bank draft of 15k to British council then visit their office at ikoyi (if you wrote in Lagos and environs) pick your TRF and submit immediately after completing the EOR forms. The collection days for Lagos are Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. It take about 2 - 4 weeks for EOR but there are cases where people have waited up to 8weeks for the result. BootyliciousHon: 2 Likes |

missKeri: I don't know much about medical stuff but you can read the following posts. I believe your case is similar to lawyers (i.e using date they were called to bar or university graduation date). https://www.nairaland.com/4212543/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/200#64445942 https://www.nairaland.com/4212543/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/201#64449157 https://www.nairaland.com/4212543/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/201#64450471 |

Lansky: 1. No 2. Your POF must be intact all through the process (i.e till you land in Canada). |

PGD does not count as highest degree in this case. That's only reserved for Master's and Doctorate degrees. Please evaluate your BSc along with your PGD to get points for 2 or more certificates. Kindly go to page 1 and carefully read and understand this EE process. You will not regret it. Franklyly: 1 Like |

Hello all, Please I want to learn more about using mutual funds and T-bills as POF. Will they overcome the 6 months account balance period requirement by CIC? and are they linked to an already existing bank account? Thanks in anticipation. |

Really I'm quite surprised that some people are even considering "giving up" after a failed IELTS attempt. give up and do what exactly?? when will y'all understand that in this journey "giving up" is NOT an option...you CAN'T give up. if you failed an attempt, register for the next! if you don't have the money yet, save up! if you're scared of rewriting, chill, give yourself more time to practice and go write it! but whatever you do, you just CANNOT give up! For to "give up" is to die, and we aint dying. Nah!...not today. we goan live a long fulfilled life IN CANADA! We live to fight another day guys....keep hope alive. 62 Likes |

Hello All, When is it the best time to book for medicals and biometrics, is it when one enters the pools or when one gets the ITA. My wife is the PA, 443 is her number(we expect her WES in by next week ending 19th Oct ) but timing is of the essence but by third week in December 2018, her points drops off. So how can we "haste" the process once we get the ITA? 1 Like |

[quote author=Lansky post=72049366] 1) Will the X-ray delay my wife's Medical till after birth? If YES, how does it affect the other processes? (I've read Medical is first after AOR) If you choose the option of not taking the x-ray during medicals because of bun, then I believe that may delay application process. I chose to do the x-ray with a protective garment and medical has been passed in my profile. 1 Like 1 Share |
