Hello Moneybag,

CAD12k comes to about 3.3million naira at the current rate.
You have about 2.5million...I suggest you also put this money in a treasury bills investment for a 6mnths to one year period. The interest you will earn along with the principal will go a long way and u should have less than 300k difference.

The LORD will provide the rest for you.

Don't give up...follow your dreams.

Great day ahead!

Dear aqll. Good evening. I sincerely hope I'd get a response on this issue bordering me. I intend to start my application for this scheme. I believe I have 98% chances of securing it by THE GRACE OF GOD. but one major issue that scares me is the fund. Though I'm working, I don't have up to the required amount they stated for the proof of funds stuff..... 12000 Canadian dollars. Almost 5million naira if I'm not mistaken.

I can afford to raise up to 2.5mil if I pull all my cards. Can anyone advice me sincerely how to go about this?

With all the moneybag you're carrying? Just kidding.

Search amongst your close and distant relatives, there should be someone who'd be interested in funding this dream. That's just one way. Think and dig deep

I haven't gotten a definite answer yet, but from ICES website it says CIC will have access to the ECA report/information or so. I really don't wanna spend extra money for something that is not needed, and at the same time I wanna be sure it's absolutely necessary.

Hi guys please when I was applying for my student visa I used a different work experience from what am about to use on my resume for my express entry application. Do u guys think it will be a problem?

There'll certainly be a mismatch and that'll trigger some additional scrutiny on your application. If their fears are confirmed, you'd likely receive a ban for misleading a VO. That is, misrepresentation.

The onus is on you to ensure consistency in your disclosures. I won't advise that you tell a lie at this stage, it's too dangerous.

Please evaluate with IQAS and for this purpose, you need only your university transcript. No need for law school transcript.

Hello great people, i am an avid reader and follower of this wonderful post as i plan to migrate to the promised land next year.
I intend to use the "Masters degree or professional degree" option for my wife's education qualification (she's the PA) in-order to score more points in CRS. I want to know if LAW graduates needs to evaluate their law school (call to bar) as a professional certificate as well as their 1st degree from the University. I intend to use ICES (and not WES due to WAEC inclusion), even-though, i will pay twice for both qualifications. Please any person in my shoe or any lawyer with similar experience should advice me. Much appreciated and thanks.

I did is that i included IRCC, CIC, the PNP... among those I'd like to have access to my evaluation result, since it wouldn't cost me any extra money

We used a contact at NTI, Zaria. I got the breakthrough on it from from one of us here. It was a slow process due to months of delay from NTI. You can PM me for the contact details.

Gellyz:
Hello, pls for those that used NTI PGDE. What was the process of requesting for transcript.

Elders in this house, i hail o. please i need urgent help. Hubby is an unaccompanying spouse and i am the primary applicant travelling with a toddler. My question is our POF is domiciled in hubby's account. He wants to get an affidavit to indicate that he is the one sponsoring our relocation and i have access to the said fund. Is this acceptable please. Someone please bail me out of my misery biko.

This is not misery biko.
I believe the affidavit should suffice. But if it bothers you that much, get him transfer the POF to your own account and make the gift deed (gift deed isn't even necessary in this case, just include it in an LOE).

Or is he afraid you'll carry the money and run? (this is a joke pls!).

Not until you see the assessment report and it clearly states that... to avoid stories that touch.

Hello Guys, I submitted my application in December 2017 but just received an update saying I'd be invited for an interview in Accra.

Is anyone in the same boat and what can I expect?

Thanks

Any can be used as long as the person can attest to the responsibilities you carried out. But its preferable to use your current supervisor or a HR personnel. That way, even if IRCC reaches out, then you are safe.

Eben04:
Good people, please I have a query.

To sign my reference letter, can I use my former supervisor or must it be my current supervisor ?

P.S : I am claiming points for just one job role and both supervisors are still in the organisation.

Yes.The ECA report issued by IQAS will state that your law is a professional certificate and with that you can chose "Masters degree or professional certification".
