Who told you Atlanta is the highest of all US "states" in black population? First of all, Atlanta is not a state but a city, and the city with the highest black population is Detroit in the state of Michigan. The black population in Detroit is almost double that of Atlanta.

Atlanta.is NOT the cheapest state and most people can't afford to stay in Atlanta, it's actually expensive to live in the city of Atlanta or you are a serious city bug like someone I know. All the people saying they are in Atlanta are actually in places like Igando and Imota and then say they are in Ikoyi. There has been influx of people into Georgia lately.because of the weather and music culture of people who think to make it big in music, you have to be in Atlanta. Tyler Perry was one reason too, another reason is, they already have NE which is New York and west which is California, so it makes sense to try the south, the real south where the southern hospitality is better experienced. Georgia is where loaded "bless your heart" is always served with smiles. I still think Georgia is the best state to live in especially in this political climate. Georgia is where you feel safe in restaurants and bars, you can leave your home at 2 or 3 am without fear of being shot at. In fact you will think twice before you get involved in road rage in Georgia as it may be the last one you get involved in, everyone has a gun and I became a believer when a 68 years old woman had her gun on her cocktail table as if it was a pen or eye glasses you just leave around.
