Dude it is not african, your just bitter, why do they give awards, praise to staffs of a company? why is obama or putin being praised, awarded, was their administration perfect? why do students get awards for doing what is for their own good? Why do your parents praise u for graduating, doing well? Why do they praise the military for doing their job? Oga, giving accolades or praises to people does not mean they ve done exceptionally well, or perfect. it's a means of encouraging them to do better.

Suffer head has affected your level of reasoning. you compare student to a governor you elected. please tell us what exactly your governor has done to deserve any form of accolade or award. that is why you nigerians will continue to suffer. A governor that receives millions of naira as salary aside from the stolen fund. A governor that begged you to vote for him while making mouth watering promises. How many of the promises has he fulfilled? Aside from building bus terminals everywhere for his personal transport business and few over inflated bridges, what else has he done? Are your roads good? are your state schools up to standards? are your state hospitals up to standards? will ambode send his children to any of the lagos state public schools, will he or any of his family ever get treated in any lagos state owned hospitals? Do you fly from your house to work everyday or cover your eyes not to see the terrible state the roads are in?
