Friend Or Foe by Eliusdgenie(m): 6:26am On Aug 08, 2018
seven stanzas I wrote during one of my quite introverted moments.
==>poem is a form art. Doesn't matter what is expressed or how it is expressed, it just speaks to different people in different ways.

RHETORIC RELATION

Friend or foe?
which, I do not know
we had a laugh and a cry
to a seasoned truth baked in a lie.

I saw those glorious morning smiles
with a hand for shake stretching miles
all densely set like a wary sun
drawing the line between devil and the nun.

Friend or foe?
lust is the hoe
dug our paths in meanders
made dogs from brothers

We barked in grieved fear
of the ridiculed cloth of masculinity we wear
as the bloodied carcass of a woman's love
litters the alley of our estranged hearts.

Friend or foe?
to decrease, one must grow
for all love lost and lust found
and all lust lost and love found

I crossed a measly line so far
drawn from the time of David and Bathseba
old as the line of frown on your face
immortal as the blackness of our race

friend or foe?
friend! I will forever choose so
a twisted hand can make a perfect beggar
only in lands of enslaved ego and nascent order.
