Why We Wail..

Niccholo Machiavelli lived in Florence (present day Italy) in the 16th Century. He was an astute politician and philosopher. A great strategist that taught his wards how to employ guile and cunning to attain power. And how to hold on to it. He wrote a book of his experiences, titled "The Prince". That book is still on sale till date 500 years after.

Robert Greene admittedly a student of Machiavelli, expanded the philosophy and wrote the 48 Laws of Power.

My dear Readers, EVERY SINGLE MOVE by Bukola Saraki was taken from the pages of both books. Saraki patiently, for over 6 years, employed Machiavellian Principles, pulled a rabbit out of the hat!

- He dethroned his father as the generalissimo of Kwara politics
- He defected from PDP in 2014
- He abandoned GEJ and weakened his presidency
- He supported Buhari while knowing he was less competent
- He taught APC specialized rigging moves and how to isolate a strong contender
- He knew he was still viewed by APC with distrust even after elections
- He made a bargain with PDP and became Senate President
- He played up the persecution of Buhari and gained public sympathy
- He kept the national assembly quietly controlled while the country burned
- He played opossum while documenting the atrocities of the presidency
- He plays the statesman while the presidency looks ridiculous
- He courts the diplomats and keeps a solid hand on the Senate
- He waited a few months to the elections and left Buhari and his APC
- He transmitted to PDP and became the PDP Leader
- He caused panic in their camp and made them commit unforced errors
- He knew about the invasion of National Assembly and smartly garnered popular support...

And people that could care less started supporting the national assembly that does not give a damn!

A most dangerous and cunning man, came off smelling like roses!

The diplomats around the world are calling Mr. Saraki. Surreptitiously and with great cunning, Saraki has been unconsciously anointed by a majority at home and beyond, as The One!

He's got the presidency by the balls now. There are so many impeachable offenses. He's got the numbers, he's got the reasons, and he's got the local and international backing! If impeachment comes, then both Aki & Pawpaw would go down! He becomes president. If he waits till 2019, PDP anoints him, and he becomes president.

All those defections folks were hailing all the while, simply aided the enthronement of Mr. Saraki. Same shit, different day...

Whatever anyone does, he's gonna be president! Take it to the bank! Ours is just to validate an already done deal! We've got no input other than "Sai Saraki"... Like cattle, we would have no choice but to say "Yes, Boss"!

The Citizen is left holding the empty sack once more! You see how impossible for the citizens to enthrone good leadership under this structure? You see how we just waste our time while the world moves on?

I agree with everything u said apart from him getting the numbers,he's not gonna be president, and we the citizens are not left holding an empty sack we want someone to take it up with Buhari, stand shoulder to shoulder with him and APC before does not mean we've forgotten his antecedent,we all know he's corrupt,Apart from dat their zone North central worked against his dad during Shagaris' era, don't forget he has crossed some vindictive people like tinubu's path,he's also brilliant strategist, write it down if Saraki narrowly even enter Senate again he won't be relevant again.and their coalition might not work this one some powerful caucus have started supporting sule lamido on one side, kwankwanso on the other,I smell trouble.

left for me, I think Saraki wants to remain the Senate President. He is loyal to Atiku and don't be surprised that all this games that he has been playing might still be with the extra intelligence he gets from Atiku

Vice President Osinbanjo is an example of the kind of president we require. He takes action when action needs to be taken!

It's funny how most people overestimate Saraki, the man will have serious problem if he is not careful, I will compare Saraki to this man in game of thrones Little finger, who thought he was the smartest in all the seven kingdoms, I believe if you watched game of thrones you will know what happen to him.

In the 48 laws of power, the first rule is, Never outshine your master, always make him feel comfortable being your master. Because if he sensed your ambitions is threatening him, he will do anything to destroy you.

If you must make an attempt on your master, make sure you will not fail.

The problem with people like Saraki is that, in there quest for power they tend to make too many enemies, and that what get little finger killed in the game of thrones. Remember In PDP where Saraki want to get his ticket from have people like Atiku and others who are equally over ambitious like Saraki himself who will not settle for anything less, unless the presidential ticket is given to them.

Imagine PDP telling Atiku to support Saraki presidential election, I believe you know that will never happen.

One thing that I am certain of is that there will be a fallout after PDP primary election. The question now is has PDP plan on how to manage the fallout that will befall them after there primary elections.

Saraki should be careful with the way he goes about his ambitions. Because in life no matter who you are or how smart you think you are there are lines you don't cross. Once you do everything will come crashing down.

My brother always tell me where your smartness or intelligence stop that's where another person own begins.

The earlier Nigerians realize that Saraki is not what he innocently claims he is, the better they would vote come 2019. He is that man that patiently waits while gradually destroying those above him to become leader. He is desperate and a desperate man will do almost anything to have his way.
