CitiBank is partnering with Ingressive, Rising Tide Africa, and the Growing Businesses Foundation (GBF) to host this months Ecosystem Hangout on Friday, August 31st at 6:30 pm. The event is being held at the stunning IBM Innovation Center at the Churchgate Towers in Victoria Island. This event is focused on providing entrepreneurs with the informational resources needed to build a solid foundation and connect them to the networks, tech innovation, and avenues to funding needed to scale.
This month’s event is a two-part session entitled “Bridging the Gap.” The goal is to deep dive into the problems experienced by entrepreneurs, developers, and designers attempting to create solutions using design thinking process. The design thinking process will involve splitting attendees into small teams with a member from each community coming together to identify the issues each one faces. Experienced presenters will compile the issues found within our 10 teams and revert with solutions during part two. All experience levels are welcome as we tackle topics like educational paths, how to engage, and best practices from each. The more perspective, the better the solution.
