What politicians are after – Banky W warns Nigerians

Popular singer cum actor, Banky W has warned Nigerians against taking sides in heated arguments over political leaders in the country.

Banky W, writing on his Twitter page, said all politicians are after their self interest, therefore none should be sided with.

This is coming after operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS, blocked the entrance of the National Assembly, preventing lawmakers from gaining access to the chambers.

This led to the dismissal of the Director-General of the Department of State Services, Lawal Daura.

According to Banky W, politicians in the country were playing with Nigeria’s destiny, adding that they do not have the interest of Nigerians at heart. He therefore called on citizens to look for a new way forward.

He wrote: “Politicians are playing musical chairs with our country’s destiny. Instead of us coming together and cancelling all of them, some of us are picking sides, fighting on their behalf and falsely accusing ourselves. News flash: They’re all out for self-interest. We need an entirely new path.
