SCARS is a project that seeks to use Photography to create awareness about the psycho-social and emotional effects people suffer from scar experiences. The project seeks to advocate for behavioral change of society, to enable people suffering these experiences become accepted or included in the society.
A Scar is a mark on the skin which is left after a wound has healed; it is an unpleasant physical or emotional experience which leaves a permanent effect on the body (wound or mark) or mind (Collins Dictionary).
As a Creative Arts & Media Company, most of our works involve the use of photography and other forms of art to tell stories.
Society should be educated on the effects of Physical scars on people, and learn how they can empower these individuals to live comfortably and secure.
Our goal is to create awareness of the various scars that have impacted people in the society, how their lives have been changed as a result of the scar experience, and to advocate for equal treatment for all humans, a world free from discrimination or stereotype.

There's a story behind how every scar came to be, and these stories are worth sharing.
