saraki can go sleep in minna --actually he can even rent a room in ibb's stolen mansion

all we want is someone to list the accomplishments of barawo saraki when he was the governor of kwara state.
or tell us what he did with the loot he stole from societe general bank

---the phd holder was too busy getting drunk everyday to accomplish anything..

just look at the hardwork Buhari's ministers are showing --real accomplishments.

That one is no problem believe me, the current one is part of the larger one which is Lagos to Kano. I'm certain once this completed, they'll start with Lagos to Kano as well as Lagos to Calabar simultaneously.

This administration is serious about the railway, another thing is, if they finish this one before elections and people get free rides, belive me ehn, the votes from the SW will be in bloc!

This thing is quite laughable. The yorubas are gloating about this. But of course the equivalent of this is the Enugu-ph rail way. It was built by zik in the 50s and refurbished by gej in 2013

Yes,bro. I was being modest,I am following all the efforts. Amaechi is determined to use what you just stated as a massive campaign strategy. It will work. I am waiting to laugh hard at people too blind and quite irrational to see these things.

Comparing lives and security is unethical but for record purposes I will indulge you.
During Obasanjo's regime.
Religious crisis emanating from sharia claimed more casualties than the Fulani herdsmen own.
State sponsored annihilation of people of Odi and Zak Ibiam.
Miss World riot in kaduna claimed over 200 lives, should I mention that of Muhammad cartoon massacre in maiduguri?
Arm robbery was at it peaks which neccesitated the formation of ethic militias (Opc, bakasi boys etc), because even the security were overwhelmed and perplexed.
Political Assassinations every where.
Niger delta militancy and incessant kidnappings and killings.
ETC

yaradua was able to put an end to the ND issue via Amnesty.

GEJ's Tenure.
Terrorism was birthed in nigeria and became a strong hold, From the alleged okah Independence Day bombing to the Bigger evil (boko haram) bombing every where and killing people in their hundreds. It was so strong that people were even afraid of going to church or organizing outside functions.
Mind you in JOS 2010 Fulani / Indegene clashes claims the lives of close to 1000 with the Fulani killing over 500 in one night.
Kidnappings every where.
I can go on and on.

I know buhari has "failed" in term of security but previous govts are colossal failures.

And you were traveling between Enugu and PH by rail since the 2013 that GEJ refurbished it, or you were travelling via rail between 2013 and 2015 that GEJ was the President?

1. Yea, We are happy to have locomotives for a start, atleast compared to 16yrs of looting and nothing to show for it. We appreciate how our Money is Used for something better for the first time .
2. If you are tired of being a NIGERIA Black man, you can bathe yourself in acid and defect to Afghanistan, We are still in the season of defection.
3. From your word, these are normal things expected of a working government, so stop the complaint and appreciate when something good is been done. It reduces the effect of High Blood. Pressure.

franchasng:
Yes its a good development but other nations are moving forward, embracing modern railway track system, why are we still celebrating mediocre in this God forsaken nation

We need speed trains and modern train system not locomotive railway tracks.

It is really painful to be born a black African, especially a Nigerian cry

As if the government officials they are hailing are using their pocket money or personal money to fund these projects.

For crying out loud, these are the normal things they are supposed to do.

We must stop this celebration of mediocre whether as APC or PDP supporters, it won't take us anywhere better sooner or later angry

While not supporting the killings but just answer my question honestly: WERE THEY SLEEPING WITH TWO EYES CLOSED IN BENUE AND PLATEAU BEFORE BUHARI? OR WEREN'T THERE HERDSMEN KILLINGS DURING PREVIOUS ADMINISTRATIONS?

Cut Buhari some slack he is much better than all previous administrations

I think the initial silence on the herdsmen issue was the reason for the affiliation and considering the fact that Buhari is a Fulani related too but these are absolute wrong insinuations, I've come to accept that we Nigerians think the way we want to think especially when an opinion is formed. At the beginning of the government, I saw one that meant well for Nigerians considering the personality of the men at the affairs or works, power, transportation etc. We can only hope for good and the worse.

That silence was too loud hence one would not really blame those who attached it to him. Though it is not lost on any sincere observer that it was largely due to the failure of the centralized policing system, what I therefore expected him to have done immediately was to sponsor a state police bill to NASS so as to demonstrate a clean conscience and genuine commitment to fundamentally addressing the scourge. But most times he chose, like his predecessor, to be reactive rather than proactive.

But c'mon what is going on ahead of this post, the usual childish political rants for and against this government. Can we separate governance from politics for once and reason like adults.

I believe the presidency or leadership of this country far outweighs roads and rail lines, airports and school buildings. I believe the leadership of Nigeria goes to folks who can fundamentally change the face, the structure of Nigeria to ensure its long term survival, viability and prosperity.

That is the ultimate measure of success and we should be looking for people who can think out of the box to achieve that.

It is on revord that as the decades have rolled by physical infrastructure delivery has continued to decline in real terms. What was built during Gowon's regime, Obasanjo could not match
What was built during OBJ's's regime, Shagari could not match, what Shagari achieved IBB could not muster. And on and in it went through Abacha, the OBJ presidency to the Yaradua/GEJ tenure. One term of this government is almost up and we should be shouting halleluyah in context? Haba, that is poor but in the circumstance we welcome any improvement, investment which impacts positively on the economy.... but this alone cannot and should not define the leadership.of his country.

Nigeria is much, much more than that.

C'mon man, state policing is not worth advocating for. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Some of these Governors cannot be trusted with state policing. It may surprise you that some of these problems are even sponsored at state level so who are to police who? I still think a proactive measure is the best looking at it logically especially with the pattern of democracy we practice and the nature of our people. I think we have a government that understand each state and as it is, the herdsmen issue is dramatically taking care of itself.
