Samsung galaxy Note 9 Together With 6.4-Inch Screen, 4,000mAh Battery Introduced: Specifications and More

True talk. But know one thing that this is just an opening for the H2 flagships. I'm looking forward to LG V40. Sammy should forget about the iris scanning and input 3D facial recognition like Xiaomi mi 8. I'm also looking forward to Huawei Mate 20, can't wait to seen new innovations.

Yeah, but right now this is the most complete phone in the world. While other manufacturers have decided to copy apple by removing the headphone jack and including a notch (which is stupid especially those phones with phat chin), Samsung have kept to their philosophy of including everything necessary in their phones.

This is why Samsung is still the no 1 phone maker in the world. They don't compromise on anything. They give u everything. Companies like HTC and Sony make great hardwares but they tend to compromise on some features and still sell for premium price.

Beside the price difference between Note 9 and Mate RS, the former is the first commercially available phone with such massive internal storage and you can be on terabyte should you buy a 512 GB SD card. I doubt mate Rs have expansion slot.

Samsung just need to up their update game enough though 70% features on 9.0 is presently available on 8.1. Media isn't taking easy with them and many people make decisions based on them.

$1,000 for the 128gb version. $1,250 for the 512gb version. Fair price if u ask me considering the huawei mate RS is sold for around $1,700

It took 6 months for Samsung to update the Galaxy s8 and note 8 phones. That's a long time if u ask me. And I don't expect the s9 series to see Android p until around December or early next year.

Yes they should up their game. Note 9, Note 8 and S9 hould receive 9.0 this year then S8 in Jan.

I receive bug patches virtually every month, sometimes twice a month, on my Note 8.

Upgrading to O, P etc etc, is a cosmetic upgrade. I am happy to wait for Samsung to test throughly, then push out whenever tests are completed........

It actually depends on the version of Android. 7.0 to 8.0 and 8.1 is not a big deal, but 8.1 to 9.0 is a big deal. Almost like a revamp of the OS. Hopefully Samsung can update their current phones to 9.0 as quickly as possible.

I am probably in the minority, 8.0 or 9.0 does not really bother me what version.

If 9.0 comes sooner or later good.... Just pleased with a stable older OS......
