To remove Saraki, APC should like any good chess player be reader to loss a piece, in this case, lose the senate president position.

All APC needs to do is to look for a popular PDP candidate from the North, arrange with him to take over the position.

That will break the ranks of senators supporting Saraki then the APC members can now rally round that person and take the position from Saraki. It will be a very painful trade off, but it is the best they can muster right now if they are thinking of impeaching Saraki. There are likely to be some disgruntled elements within PDP who still do not trust the treacherous nature of Saraki who will be willing to play ball.

Even Atiku is no longer comfortable with the larger than life posture Saraki is beginning to assume.

Politicians think only about themselves and that is what Saraki has been using to hold the Senators to ransom by giving PDP members juicy committee positions.

Once that is done, APC can then secure the deputy Senate president position. This has become like a Chess game, to open up the game, you have to lose the Queen or your Rook. It is a difficult decision to make though.

The senate would reconvene in a few days and I foresee a serious fight would occur on that day because everybody would be geared up for war especially the PDP senators bearing in mind that they are a minority now.

However, I expect a tactic like a meeting being called in the senate and a time of 11am given while the APC senators would arrive much earlier and conclude the impeachment before the arrival of anyone else.

Okadigbo during his time, duly adjourned the Senate after the plenary. But some senators against him reconvened immediately and impeached him.

So I insist, it is not difficult to impeach Saraki now.

How hatred has made us reason. We should first ask ourselves who has the right to convene the senators...Even if the APC senators are 100 in number, does any of them have the power to convene the senate?

Saraki got to the SP seat with a majority vote from those present in the plenary. The law did not say all the senators must be on seat because any vote can proceed. Saraki who was smart start up the vote process when major members of the APC are in a meeting with Buhari. The same game plan should be deployed in order to outwit him.

Infact, I need to reinstate here that the majority leader is too dull for my liken. He should turn the senate house to hell for Saraki and his minions if the Kwara fraud refuses to step down. And if matter come to worse, they should impeach him anyway, anyhow and let the kleptomaniac and the platform he choose to hop into go to court if they feel they are cheated. Politics is not a joke but a serious business for those who can get things done when resources are not much. Just like Oyegun, the Senate majority leader should resign if he can't get things done. The Senate President seat belongs to APC, he should mobilise APC members and impeach his the crook sitting on the chair;and then we can slug the rest out in the court of law

If Saraki can buy Duara from inside Aso Rock, is it the seagent at arms that is directly under his nose he cannot buy? The maze will never be present without Saraki and before Saraki shows up for any seating, he will call Ben Bruce to help him count the ratio of PDP senators to APC senators.

Saraki cannot be impeached the normal way. A man that got to his position by hiding inside the boot of a car (this is the part that disguises me the most about him)

Mynd44 the catch phrase there is TWO THIRD MAJORITY.

That entails 2 thirds of whatever majority number is present.

For example if there are 50 senators present then 2/3 of that number can effect an impeachment since a quorum has already been formed.

So assuming, that 2 Members of the Senate refuse to attend plenary for a long time, then the issue of the impeachment will have to wait till the members show up?

In the election of the Senate President, the same Constitution stipulates that; There shall be a Senate President elected by the Simple majority of the members of the Senate.

As you can see in the sections that deal with electing and impeachment of Senate President, the Constitution is silent on whether it is members present or the entire attendance of the members,.

Saraki exploited the constructional silence and got himself elected. Therefore, the Senators should also explore the same silence get impeached.

Let him go to court.

They should impeach him now!
