Five (5) girls from Regina Pacies Secondary School, Onitsha represented Nigeria and Africa in the World Technovation Challenge in the United States at Silicon Valley in Carlifonia broke a record as they won the Gold medal in the contest.

They beat Team USA, Turkey, China and Spain to win the 2018 Technovation World Pitch. Their expertise was them defeat 2,000 mobile apps from around the globe.
They also developed a mobile application called 'FD' Detector that tackles problems of fake pharmaceutical products in Nigeria.


The Anambra girls who have now become Africa's Golden Girls is made up of five brilliant girls with names:

2. Jessica Osita
3. Nwabuaku Ossai
4. Adaeze Onuigbo
5. Vivian Okoye
