tatiana009: What the hell , . Would they be giving him an MON as well? These politicians are revolting. This will just give the haters more things to talk about. As even our President is interested in a decadent show. And what did Biola carry her All the more for the haters to call the whole thing rigged. There was no point in her coming on stage. |
Re: Big Brother Africa 5 (the Official Thread) Is Here! by BluMalam(m): 1:36am On Oct 18, 2010 |
shokpeti: Yup, Ms. Biola sure is a mighty fine lady, but the twin events of her presence and non-presentation of the cheque for the prize money don't make sense. Even after the show, they still won't stop puzzling minds. maybe she wanted to show off that beautiful dress |
Re: Big Brother Africa 5 (the Official Thread) Is Here! by roymary: 1:42am On Oct 18, 2010 |
Check the previous Finale, she was always out to do the Check presentation, That it was rigged Who cares |
Re: Big Brother Africa 5 (the Official Thread) Is Here! by shokpeti: 1:48am On Oct 18, 2010 |
roymary: But she came out this time and presented no cheques. So why bother? |
Re: Big Brother Africa 5 (the Official Thread) Is Here! by Nobody: 1:54am On Oct 18, 2010 |
It's protocol for the MD to congratulate the winner and infact it would have been strange if she didn't do that, the absence of the cheque was the only odd thing. |

Guys we did it again and i am so happy for Uti, he really deserves it. Tatiana, Stankayy, Honeyfave, Mumagee and others too numerous to mention, Big up yourselves, You guys believed and you did it!!!! Boy am i so glad Munya lost, yes he needed to be thought a lesson in life, ARROGANCE GETS YOU NOWHERE ONLY HATE! HUMILITY WILL TAKE YOU PLACES!!!! Just remembering the way he jumped when Biggie announce last week Sunday that the deducted amount had been restored, as if the money was already his. Anybody coming for BBA6 should be ready to work hard and also be humble seeing that it can actually be won back to back!! Nothing like so so and so countries have won it before so its my turn now even if i curse Africa, My President and Biggie and also sleep all thru the game, i will still win it because it is my turn, he even had the ordersity to tell Biggie in his Diary session on Monday that he was very confident because Tz and Naija had won before. Munya shot himself, no be Africa do you this time around!!! its a pity sha, he actually left the game penniless, not even the 1000 Dollars Sheila and Mwisho got for their secret. No money for Baby food because Tatiana misled him to leaking his secret. At least him for use the 1000k dey clean him tears by now, I am sure Adiona would be dumping his sorry a.s.s sooner or later. Munya i just hope you learn from this episode!!! |

Uti 4 life, to be sincere uti was the real entertainer in the house, causing fights, argument, saying funny stuffs etc, i no see wetin munya do inside there, the house will be boring without uti. Lets face the fact, uti entertained viewers more than munya. Even if uti was from tanzania or malawi i will stil vote 4 him, bigbrother is all about entertainment and i wil vote for anyone who entertains best, regardless of the country he or she comes from |
Re: Big Brother Africa 5 (the Official Thread) Is Here! by Gunnergal: 6:22am On Oct 18, 2010 |
The MD always presents the winner. It would have been odd if she didn't show face and who cares if she's nigerian/ not.It is possible the check was not presented coz of security reasons. The crowd had lots of zimbos (as S.A is their zone) who had already planned after parties thinking their mumu had already won.I still believe the show was scripted for Munya but God no let their plans work.BTW heard Kevin didn't support Uti.If thats true then it a shame really. If Ricco could support him then he has no excuse. I miss the show already but i know i'll miss everyone on this thread more .You guys are too much! You made the show more interesting. Thanks for the updates when i couldn't watch, for encouraging me to vote(even at night) when i thought there was no point, for your wonderful analysis, for reminding us of Uti's positive points when he got into fights and the list goes on.From reading Screndiva &Rheinmetal's analysis to GTay's word for word eviction updates,to Montelik's persimisim at times to Stankayy,Spade &Tartiana's strategising. Wish i could put down the names of everyone on this thead. You guys kept us updated & glued to our computers. You too much!!Much Love |

Now that euphoria of victory has cleared off a bit, let us begin post mortem analysis. The first thing that came to my mind is the conduct of IK and his predilection to stumble at critical moment. Last year, he chipped off the well deserved victory of Kevin when he unnecessarily brought in Kevin’s name in clarifying the second and third position placing between Eddy & Mzamo. Haters latched on that to say it was Eddy that should have been announced as the winner. This year, for whatever reason best known to him and even before opening the envelope given to him by Alexander Forbes, he announced the result (but not the name of the winner) by saying this year’s result was the closest ever in the history of BBA because the result was 8 to 7 countries. First of all, he was not supposed to know the result before opening or what is the whole drama of asking Forbes to present envelopes all about. Secondly, If 8 to 7 is closest, what do we call Ricco and Hazel final when they each got 6 votes in countries count and number of individual votes had to be used to determine the winner? IK appeared to have soft spot for Munya all along and was probably disappointed at the result. Uti won fair and square. Period. |
Re: Big Brother Africa 5 (the Official Thread) Is Here! by favouredjb(f): 7:51am On Oct 18, 2010 |
I don't think ik will want to show his support for uti like dt,even though he might be rooting for him secretly, they will accuse him of favouritism, cos they are both naija, hence d pretence that he likes munya Even ik brought luck to naija since he started hosting, lol |

Re: Big Brother Africa 5 (the Official Thread) Is Here! by jejelolatu(f): 8:58am On Oct 18, 2010 |
I think no cheque was presented cos d cheque had Munyas name on it. Uti stole dat victory, if they knew Uti was gna win they wdnt hv brought TWO naija artistes to d finale. NEVER! All dat story IK gave B4 announcin d winner was prolly to pacify Munya, i bet Mnet is also scared dat dude might kill himself hence d "Nobody shud think Africa dosnt love them" story All in all Uti nids to get back in2 naija ASAP, i dnt trust dis SADc pple. The real winners of BBA dis year are the pple all across Africa esp NIGERIANS that saw d possibility in a seemingly impossible situation and worked hard at makin it a reality. I hope dat one day, some time soon perhaps ELECTION 2011 we can channel all dis passion nd positive energy in to makin Nigeria a better place. We didnt rily believe in UTI but we believed in Nigeria n so we made it work, same also, we dnt have to believe in dose Politicians buh we can ensure with our votes that d best man is sworn in as president on May 29 2011. Hope to see all d excellent strategists here on politics section nxt year. WELLDONE GUYS! |

On a serious note, i believe uti will be spending a few more days in s.a for appearances and interviews. Hope they beef up security around him cos i heard most of the zims over there are thugs. (RSA's words nt mine) @klas ik (who is also from the niger-delta region) would have put himself in an uncomfortable position if he was openly rooting for uti. It may even have cost him his job. so he handled that aspect professionally. Where he slipped was when he announced the closeness of the votes which were false facts and unnecesary. But he has tried though i fear this is it for him cos mnet might just want to reduce the Nigerian influence on the show. |
Re: Big Brother Africa 5 (the Official Thread) Is Here! by Kx: 9:15am On Oct 18, 2010 |
If SADC wants to win, they should come up with a cool rep. Better still, if MNET wants some other country' rep to win;just like they air UEFA Champions League with the caption "Excluding Nigeria" they should organise the next BBA (excluding Nigeria). Otherwise, our eye don open, victory is sweet and so long as naija sends a nice rep,man or woman, naija for live. For once I agree our population is a massive asset and our being in everywhere is a huge advantage. We should now start strategising to send the first female winner. |
Re: Big Brother Africa 5 (the Official Thread) Is Here! by dominique(f): 9:18am On Oct 18, 2010 |
Lol jeje you're prolly right. Mnet has already named munya the winner but forbes proved em wrong, then it became too late to erase munya's name on it. How i wish a.forbes will be conducting next yrs election, i get bad vibes from inec. |

For once I saw Nigerians unite. I thought only football could unite us like this but Uti proved me wrong. Even my boss in the office voted for Uti so you can imagine. The guy was bold and never afraid to talk to any of his fellow housemates which didn't go down well with many people. The most amazing part for me was his focus. Not even advances from Sheila could have distracted him. Lets stand united people, its the only way out |

v24m: I slept so early yesterday cos every channel on DSTV didn't seem useful to me after the BB channel went off, it's gonna take some time to get used to it. I don't miss the voting at all cos it was draining as in no matter what i was doing the thing on my mind was always go and vote every hour, that was crazy and i'm happy its over. |
