Lol... Bro, I'm sure he didn't look away when when they were teaching how to speak in class. He just feels his speaking is not as refined as his writing. This is not entirely new as most people tend to be stronger in some areas than others. Besides, regardless of how long he spends in Alliance française, the need to find a speaking partner would still stand as learning is continuous.

it depends: is the natural French speaker a white.? If yes, and he understands the assimilation factor of an African, go for him. But if the other teacher is a Nigerian, but equally good. You should go for him cos he understands what it takes to achieve similar feat. However, it depends on you.

ask around or google. TEF prep classes need to be handled by an entrusted language school who knows the in & out of TEF and not just FRENCH ( very important). However, if you are like me who is working and can't find a close school near by, I would recommend www.tobidam.com .It is an online classes if you want, but the teaching materials are TEF based and they have TEF past questions for preparation.

Sorry I'm just seeing this.

First of, you have to pay cash at the institute to register. I didn't have to pay for accommodation and all that cos I stayed with a friend.

They had preparatory classes I attended but it's nothing really intensive. But you can always pay extra if you want.
