Stop Indiscriminate Dumping Of Refuse - Gov Akeredolu by SoworeAllen451: 11:12am On Aug 13, 2018
"All of us have to adhere to it. There's no two ways about it. If we continue to dump our refuses in the channels it will block. We have seen that now. I think we must have to break the myth. We can't continue to live with the belief that we must throw our debris into a moving water, it blocks it.

"Luckily, we have made arrangement for people to come and collect the refuse for a token. They're ready ! You're going to have waste disposal bags. All you need to do is put all your debris there and they will come and take it away."

Governor Akeredolu charged residents of Akure the State Capital on Sunday while inspecting the ongoing channelisation of Ala River to prevent flooding in the city.
