what this really confirms is what we have always known ---the NASS is of no use to this country -they go on recess,break,holiday,work only 4 days a week -that is if they even show up and yet the lives of 200M people remains unchanged.

If the NASS was of real benefit to the people of this country their absence would have been felt immensely. If they had passed important bills that benefited the masses we would have felt their absence,if they had been contributed to the economic development and growth of this country then we would have certainly felt their absence.

Think of this

-if the police decided to down tools for a week -what would happen
if the college lecturers decided to down tools for a week -what would happen
if doctors and nurses decided to go on strike -what would happen.

even if the simple danfo drivers in lagos decided to stop working for a week --what would happen

we need to quantity the value of NASS in the lives of ordinary Nigerians --the very people who sent them their to represent their interests.

saraki and his cohorts are a drain on the scare resources of this poor country.
