Doing a project research is what every final year student, especially in the tertiary institution are required to do, as part of their course requirements. This also does not guarantee that every student know well how to choose a good project topic.

Choosing project topics for academic research often follow a rigorous process without which the topic may be ruled off. You will learn how to choose a good project topic at the end of this article.

Choosing a project topic requires the following

Must be a topic of interest
Choosing a project topic requires that it must be a topic related to your field of interest. You must understand that you need not struggle to understand some terms related to such topic. The more you have interest, the more you want to sacrifice more to enrich your work.

The topic must be researchable
A topic is researchable when it bears the necessary variables. You must include the dependent and independent variables in the topic. This means that you must have an entity in mind to study.

It must be practicable
A project topic should not be abstract in nature. It should include the problems, solutions or prospects of every day activity. It will also help you find earlier literature written on such issues.
