The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ibrahim Idris has been directed by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo to immediately overhaul the management and activities of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

The police squad has been widely accused of alleged highhandedness and extra-judicial killings.

Which has led to many protests especially online with the trending hashtag #ENDSars

The acting president’s action came a week after he sacked the director-general of the Department of State Services (DSS) for an unauthorized deployment of masked personnel to the National Assembly complex. read more http://mobizone.ng/osibanjo-orders-overhaul-sars/
