equilogng:Good evening, I have a few questions: 1. The OSHA certification card which you posted earlier, is it handed out to trainees immediately after training is over or does it take a while since it is coming from the United States? 2. The Operator certification card which you also posted, is it ONLY given to trainees previously employed as crane operators but seeking certification or is it handed out to all trainees? 3. When exactly in March will the next batch start? Thanks. |

equilogng:Thanks a lot for the breakdown. Although the new date March 18th seems quite a long while from now. Was hoping it was earlier, 4th or 11th. I spoke with someone at Equilog over the phone who said it was going to be second week of March. Any chance you people can move it up one week, or is there a reason it was moved so far down? 1 Like |

Is there job opportunities after training? Which way have you been helping your trainees after successful completion of the course? |
Re: Professional Offshore Crane Training In Lagos (OSHA ACCREDITED) by equilogng: 9:59pm On Feb 22, 2019 |
oluwakontrol: At Equilog Training Centre provides industry leading skill training in Heavy machinery in construction and production industries. Our skill acquisition program deploys work-based learning (WBL) process to equip students with opportunities to link their career technical training with practical, on-the-job activities thereby gaining skill and experience while learning, thereby enhancing value at workplace. Work-based learning (WBL) is an educational strategy that provides students with real-life work experiences where they can apply academic and technical skills to make them solution providers. Students participating in WBL improve their work habits and attitudes, identification of goals and aptitudes, and the motivation to complete and further their education to compete on a global scale. you asked"Which way have you been helping your trainees after successful completion of the course?[/quote] " check https://www.nairaland.com/5040860/chevron-nigeria-internship-program-2019 We have a number of companies we partnered with that are involved in technical staffing for local and foreign oil & gas companies, marine and construction firms . We have recommended and sent (excavator operators to a mining company in Kogi last November. If you click or follow our thread on nairaland you see how often we post vacancies for the general public not just our trainees because the unemployment situation in Nigeria is alarming and needs our collective efforts. May God richly bless Mr. Seun for keeping Nairaland a free forum. However,Oluwacontrol ,please learn to invest in yourself, its the best gift you can ever give yourself. Opportunities come everyday but how can you recognise them if you have not prepared for them in advance?

How do you handle the practical aspect of the training? Are you guys for real.Does equilog has their own equipments for training or their students are attached to all this local operators. How can you convince me that your training program is real and not fake. Patiently waiting for your reply. I am asking these questions cos I don't want to regret registering with you guys later. |

gbelukanbi: The only way is to come and see! Kindly, define what you meant by "FAKE" and "Local operators" A doubter will always see giants where there are myriads of opportunities! You may have a bright picture/aspiration of what you need or want to be but taking the right action is what guarantee your path to success. You can never see clearly enough in your sitting position.
