Anambra is not holding governorship and senatorial elections
Unlike the executive, the parliament tenure end at every general election. At the end of this 8th senate, the house will be dissolved and only senators who emerged from a freshly contested election will be inducted into the 9th senate, there is no carry over of tenure. Even the recent senatorial elections winners, will only be senators for months, they will also contest for the same position cum 2019.
