. . . and the blame game continues. Yakubu has i think, 20 goals in 47 international appearances. Thats an average of 1 goal every 2.3 games. which of our strikers currently holds a better record. First African to hit a century of goals in the EPL. Because he missed a sitter yesterday that does not change the fact that he's a good striker. Rooney spuned a sitter today in the game against Slovenia. Torres missed a couple of chances against Honduras, does that change the fact that they are good strikers? |

medjai: he is past his prime. Those records are nice overall but yakubu is getting close to over the hill territory. He can't play the role of lone striker anyway |

Yak is still relevant in the team. he is still trying to get into top form after his long injury lay off due to a lack of consistent run of games. I think he still has something to offer |
