Kevin De Bruyne has been spotted on crutches wearing a knee brace after picking up an injury during Manchester City's training.

The 27-year-old picked up a suspected knee ligament problem following an incident in training at City's facilities.

He has undergone test to determine the extent of his injury, though reports have suggested he could be out for three months.

A City statement read: “Kevin De Bruyne is undergoing tests on his right knee after sustaining an injury at training on Wednesday.

"The extent of the problem is not yet known and we will bring you further updates on Kevin's condition in due course.”

The Belgian was popular with the crowd who had gathered outside of The Printworks, though he walked with a limpon the blue carpet.

De Bruyne - joined by fellow stars including Fabian Delph and Aymeric Laporte – will soon jet out to Barcelona for further tests as he begins the recovery process.
