Remember when the Nigerian military sunk a borehole in Sambisa forest to "celebrate defeating Boko Haram". In Buhari's Nigeria, you fight terrorism by providing the terrorists with supplies and water.

Don't mind them ...Govt swaps detained BH kingpins with Dapchi girls and parts with massive cash and still claim BH is weakened or technically defeated .

For the few Chibok girls that were released I heard it live on BBC that the govt paid 3 million Euros

And who can blame them? The network infrastructure in Nigeria is a sham. You cannot pay for goods and services with cash transfers and expect a complete transaction. There's always network availability issues making cashless transactions a hell for most people, even breeding mistrust and regrets trying it out. Nigeria has a long long way to go and if the problems (which are easily identifiable) associated with a cashless economy are not dealt with from the root, i think it will take eons before this change can be fully embraced.
You make VERY GOOD and VALID points here. Got me thinking we've been trying to put the cart before the horse all along.

Indeed, to make this thing work efficiently and effectively, we need to aggressively pursue the provision of the available infrastructure, not only qualitatively but also quantitatively. These issues are most prevalent in rural areas and the network providers tend to ignore these areas as they focus more on where they get the most patronage, which is urban centres.

Regardless, government can step in to bridge this gap. Both Federal and state governments can do this.

Alot is indeed wrong with the system. Our governments and policy makers really need to sit up. We certainly can't achieve nothing moving at this pace.

It seems this UN mentioned here is being economical with the truth.

The report mentioned of 111 Dapchi school girls abducted and ransom was paid to them. UN SHOULD HAVE MENTIONED HOW MUCH AND WHO DOLED OUT THE MONEY. From my memory, our defence minister, Mansur Dan Ali did not tell us money was involved in that "negotiation of release" which failed to rescue Leah Sharibu

The report identified extortion, charitable donations, smuggling, remittances and kidnapping as parts of ways Boko Haram is funded.

Their report says nothing much here.
Thank God President Buhari is doing everything in his power to flush them out unlike the way they reign supreme in the past.
This is why Nigeria will continue to get worst. Nigerians have no loyalty to humanity and truth. Please stop the spreading of lies. Not only is Boko Harem worst two other groups became more powerful, the herdsmen and this new Islamic terror group, when did they pop up to start kidnapping anyway?
I pray God does for your future what Buhari did to this country!

we know who paid , the only thing we don't know is how much was paid and how many BH detainees were released ....in the end BH killed 2 birds with one stone

BH: "Oga we are broke o , the money you gave us after releasing some Chibok girls has finished"

GMB:" I will see what I can do ...but I need to release the money to you officially "

GMB: OK I know what to do.....you go to Yobe state ...you know peoplr are too focused on Borno now ...kidnap some school girls ...in exchange for the girls we will release some of your guys and settle you with massive cash"

BH : "ok sir you are a man of integrity ...meeting your campaign promise to us"

We've always known the information the UN is presenting to the world. It's also not a secret that some powerful countries are behind the insurgency. Please don't play games with us UN Security Council. You know which countries are financing Boko Haram, Islamic State and Alqaeda in the various forms that you have described. Expose these countries, impose an embargo on them, close the accounts that are being used to channel funds to the terrorists. Oh but how can the mastermind impose sanctions against himself? Nigeria, you're on your own. Some of the countries which appear to be interested in helping you to fight and defeat Boko Haram are the authors of your problem. Their strategic objective is to divide Nigeria into 3 independent states and with the help of Boko Haram and other forces they are succeeding in making you like the idea. Some of you have started believing that the idea is your own and you like it. But it's their idea. They're afraid of a united, peaceful Nigeria because it's likely to be too powerful to contain and exploit and can be a "very bad" influence on the African continent, particularly if it combines forces with South Africa in the pursuance of Africa's best interests.

Don't be surprised that you, I mean you might be a part of those funding boko haram. How? Most times I have a feeling that all those aboki begging everywhere in the country might be the ones raising money for them! You know those guys are easily brainwashed!
When I developed the feeling, I stopped giving them cash. Rather, I give them food items. Sebi na food dem say dem wan chop.

If some terrorist attacks stops some gvt, individuals and agencies will suffer hunger as some theses agencies technically the sponsors of these groups including international bodies if not wrongly mentioned

The best way to tackle terrorism is in the hand of government and Individuals to state clearly and deal with these manace with fair heart. We should stop deceiving ourself.

Amenoooooooooo!

God let me help start entrepreneur programs for the youths like GEJ did! Amen!!

Chukwu the Supreme being let me hire a good agriculture manager like GEJ did so my farm can be bigger than even OBJ and I too can be featured on Forbes magazine like our agri minister was during that time. Amen!!

God give me the courage to fire anybody that mess up like the Minister of Aviation, even though she refurbished all the airports and built one for me in Enugu, he still had to let her go because the people spoke and said no giving kickbacks and buying bulletproof BMW's to protect your stupid life. I will listen to the masses because that is what leaders do AMEN!

I will hire a brilliant finance manager that will take my financial outlook up like Auntie Ngozi did for the country, and even though they said money was stolen and could not prove it, we were still pushed to the greatest heights of becoming one of the fastest growing economies in the world. AMEN!!!!!

Now u have to give him a second term to stop BH.

Baba is working.

GEJ put you in recession you never entered till he left office....... are you well?

FACTS
When buhari forcefully took over in 1983, Nigeria went into recession and he blamed Shagari.

When buhari assumed office in 2015, Nigeria went into recession and he blamed 16 years of PDP misrule.

NOW
See a psychiatrist urgently. Your matter requires urgent attention
