SARS Operatives Caught ‘extorting Passengers’ Few Hours After Osinbajo’s Order T by Fattycoal9: 12:39pm On Aug 16, 2018 |
Operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad have been spotted trying to ‘extort passengers’ in Lagos few hours after the acting President, Yemi Osinbajo gave an order to overhaul the unit. The order came months after a general outcry by Nigerians against the brutality carried out against them by the SARS operatives. Many hoped that with order to overhaul SARS, would finally come peace. In this new video, the officers are seen speaking with people on a bus after apparently stopping the vehicle. It is believed that the operatives are, as usual, holding passengers to ransom before requesting for cash. At one point, one of the officers is seen stepping inside the bus. The other one stands guard looking on. According to reports by Instablog the incident happened earlier today in Surulere, Lagos.
