With the shambolic ouster of the Super Eagles from South Africa 2018, as usual the next thing now is the rush to return to the drawing board to find out 'What went wrong?' Again in our usual character, I expect that the NFF, Sport journalists, football commentators, analysts (beer-parlour ones inclusive) et al will waste a lot of time talking back and forth, arguing back and forth with little or no action!

All these unseriousness should expectedly last for the next 2 years, only to break to allow our usual rag-tag team called Super Eagles to go for the Nations Cup 2012 and collect their usual bronze medal! Then another round of post-mortem will start on why we could not win Gold (the Nations Cup) and this will continue till Nations Cup 2014/Brazil 2014 and, as usual, we shall mess up again!

So, methinks, our best bet now is to stop all these South Africa 2010 post-mortem, buck passing and let us just prepare a 8-yr programme for World Cup success:to develop our league to international standard and raise an unbeatable Super Eagles Squad consisting of 70% home based and 30% foreign-based players.

If we can do this right away, I bet you, we will achieve all the followings: 2012 Nations Cup - at worst Silver;2014 Nations Cup - Gold Medal!; Brazil 2014 - at worst, the last 4 and England 2018, at worst Silver Medal!

The time to start preparing is NOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!
