Arsenal boss Unai Emery confirmed that Petr Cech will be starting for the Gunners against Chelsea on Saturday afternoon and both sets of fans are saying the same thing about the decision.

The ex-Blues shotstopper has had some mixed reviews about his performances over the past couple of seasons, including during the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City at the weekend.

U20 WWC: SUPER FALCONETS SENT PACKING BY SPAIN
Nigeria’s Super Falconets have been eliminated from the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup following a 2-1 defeat to Spain on Thursday.

Goals from Aitana Bonmati and Patri Guijarro helped the European champions reach the semi-final.

Spain made their early advantage count by breaking the deadlock before the quarter-hour mark through captain Bonmati.

NIGERIA SUPER EAGLES DROPS IN LATEST FIFA RANKINGS
Nigeria has slipped down one spot in the latest FIFA rankings from number forty-eight to forty-nine after failing to qualify for the second stage of the World Cup in Russia.

2018 FIFA World Cup winners, France climbed to the top of the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking in the first edition of the global rankings since they emerged world champions.

France who went up six places are followed by in third place winner at the World Belgium, Brazil is seated third, while World Cup finalist Croatia climb 16 places to fourth, Uruguay, England, Portugal complete top seven in the global rankings.

OSINBAJO MEETS WITH DALUNG, PINNICK TO RESOLVE NFF CRISIS
Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday had a meeting with the Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Solomon Dalung and the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick at the Presidential Villa, Abuja to discuss the ongoing leadership tussle in the NFF and FIFA’s threat to ban the country from international competitions.

Pinnick and a few other members of his NFF executive were seen at the Council Chamber before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting which held yesterday.
