food, an essential commodity needed to grow well is a scarce thing for me to come by. The government have refused to pay my mum her due pension. Sometimes, i eat 20 naira peanut with small garri. I miss eating quality meals.

It's hard getting creditors in this regime. I dodge food vendors and some groceries sellers because i'm unable to offset the debts i piled up while patronising them.

Is it not the same God I serve that those who relax in quality eatries and joints serve? Hmm

COPING WITH SICKNESS

if i say i have been okay with my throat issues which i've had to manage for 4 years now, i'll be lying to myself. It has been from one complication to the other. Sometimes, throbbing headache, uncomfortable breathing, increased temperature, relapse, disorientation amongst other things. I couldn't sleep yesterday night. I kept turning, writhing in pain. I woke up intermittently to clear my throat. Hmm... I wish i had the financial power to fly abroad for proper treatment.

Sometimes, i just sit down thinking where i got it all wrong in health measures to have been struck with an abstruse illness. I long for the nostalgic times of the past when i was strong and lively.

LIVING A DEAD MAN'S LIFE

the kind of life i live is pitiable. I have the brains but i'm wasting away due to my ailment. I can't do what other youths do. Which is: wake up early, go to work, acquire properties, fall in love, cruise around, hang out with my contemporaries and so on.

I live in disillusionment, despondency, distraught, frustration, gloom, solitude........

I wake late, do the little work i can, eat the little available, get lost in thoughts, take pain killers, lie down in order not to exacerbate my condition, press my phone and sleep off.

I'm like someone ostracized. I don't talk with people, people don't call. I initially resigned to fate but i've decided to voice out in order to get some reprieve.

millions of Africans are in your position and make do with the little they have until it gets better... you are no different. ultimately, nobody said that life was going to be easy, but you surely have family/friends that can alleviate your struggles small small. this is the time to ask them to show their kindness. there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

Some Nairalanders here including Ladies, young and Old some still active were Clamouring for them to collect back the remaining money from the Family the donations raised since he was dead.
