Hi,
I am a science enthusiast and I believe we are born in very interesting times! I am excited at the wonderful technology and devices we are using now which were unthinkable a century ago!

However, I can't wait for science to finally catch up with several beliefs (some religious/spiritual) about intelligence, life itself and our universe.

So what kind of crazy changes are coming down the pike toward us?

How about:

*Proof that human beings possess nearly unlimited latent abilities in extra-sensory perception
*The discovery that each human being possesses not one, but several bodies
*The acceptance of psychic surgery as a medical practice
*The replacement of the theory of genetic evolution by a theory of self-evolving consciousness
*The discovery (or long-overdue revelation of) the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations
*The acceptance of the survival of consciousness after death
*Confirmation of the reality of reincarnation, ghosts, and other realms of post-mortal existence
*The acceptance of the existence of other forms of intelligent consciousness not only in other animals and plants, but within “inanimate” matter as well
*The measured observation of not only other planets, stars, and galaxies, but other entire universes
*The discovery of subatomic universes
*The direct exploration of all such worlds using instantaneous, non-fuel-based modes of translocation — perhaps involving the teleportation of consciousness
*The confirmation that all such worlds and universes are a holographic projection of the mind, i.e. an “illusion”
*The observation of not only other realms of non-material existence, but other forms of non-materially based intelligence — spirit guides, angels, demons, gods, fairies, call them what you will
*The vanishing of the distinction between matter, energy, thought, feeling, and awareness
*The invention of time travel — but, of course, it won’t be mechanical in nature

The others seem feasible, but not time travel .

They are beyond science.

Your tone suggest you already have the answers and you are only waiting for science to confirm. Science doesn't deal with superstitions like spirits or souls or multiple bodies. There are no physical evidence for those. Physics explain that what we term spirits and demons and gods are electromagnetic manifestations of energies of the universe.

Science doesn't claim to have answers or confirmation of everything. What science knows it does with evidence.

Physics say time travel, existence of other dimensions and other universes etc are possible. It might be impossible for us to completely prove them today but preliminary evidences say they are there. For instance, one of the clues for other universes is the amount of Dark Energy pushing the galaxies apart. The beauty of science is that it leaves trails and clues for other people to continue.

We should admit there are things science cannot confirm or prove with evidence as of now. But there are steps that show these things can be proven in a hundred years, a thousand years or more.

Remember the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil unmade man(Adam). There’s a limit to how you seek SUCH UNPOPULAR ESOTERICALLY MYSTICAL knowledge. Eating the fruit will create a consciousness (a sense of unclothedness) that would make you seek protection and refuge from fig leaves as a cover.(That can't cover you appropriately). Remember that happened to Adam.

Don’t uncover what your existential make up cannot handle now. You are not cut for that now.

Remember seeking for power inordinately brought the devil his fall while seeking for knowledge unguidedly worked the downfall of man. Be careful.

Beautiful post. It's time the definition of science is stretched some more. There are great discoveries waiting to be unravelled when science finally crosses the chasm between reality and physical verifiable evidence, beyond distance and time.

Your warning is altogether unnecessary though appreciated. 100 years ago or so, you would probably have said the same of spaceships, the internet, smart phones, the web, GPS, Maglev trains, drones, modern cars, submarines, hypersonic jets and all the gadgetry in our homes today including the microwave oven, dishwasher, LED TVs among others; if you had lived at that time.
