The recent demolition of a radio station by Oyo state government portends grave danger for Nigeria. This means that freedom of press/ information is no more in the state. It means that any station that brings out information from the other parties apart from the one in govt is liable to similar attacks. It is a way of surpressing the press.

Further implication of this is that we will only be hearing government friendly news. If any one dares bring out information on the ills, corrupts/illegal activities of people in government, such person's life is in danger. This is most alarming, especially for a government that claims to be fighting corruption.

This is a major threat to democracy and Nigeria. This is the beginning of Tyranny. Let the whole World know!
