The heavy rain that day couldn't allow me to wake up early. I was enjoying the rain as that was the first rain of the year. For the past 3 months, the weather has been extremely hot.

I finally squeezed myself out of the blanket I used to cover my body. I switched on the light. Oh no, it's 8:30am already. I can’t believe I will go to work late today.

This has never happened, What will I tell my Boss? I was in dilemma. Within few minutes, I took my bath, wore my red shirt and black trouser, already standing at the busy junction of Iyanere, Lagos State.

'Omo Igbo, Jeka lo, Mo lero o ni ayipada,' the conductor said in Yoruba language (Igbo Man, let's go, I hope you have change) Quickly, I jumped inside the bus and sat down. Praying to get to work before my Boss.

Suddenly, someone tapped my shoulder twice. I didn't care to know who the person was as my heart kept beating like a drum. Finally, I heard a voice, not just an ordinary voice. It sounds romantic. Wow!

Quickly, I turned back to know the person. I saw a smile from an epitome of beauty. Her beauty radiates like a morning sun. Please , can you pick your money on the ground?' She said with a beautiful smile.

Wow!! I don't think I have seen such a beautiful girl before. 'Can I sit beside you?' I asked the pretty damsel. 'No problem ' I can't believe she agreed. But within me, I don't know where I got such courage to ask such a question.

"Please, can we go out for a date? Sorry, I mean can I have your number? Sorry, eh, eh, eh, My name is Wisdom, I work with Igbere TV newspaper as an editor, I don't mind taking you out." I asked when I finally summoned the courage.

To my greatest surprise, she agreed. We walked down the street of Eko with all eyes on both of us. I don't care who is looking at us, not even my Oga at the top. Not when I have seen the pretty damsel I want to marry, my missing rib, the bone of my bone.

I heard a knock on my door, 'Wisdom, Wisdom, Wisdom, are you not going to lecture today? You don turn Oga abi? You wan get carry over for this course abi? Your eyes go soon red when you see 'F' for this man course ' My course mate woke me up, I can't believe I was dreaming, I can't believe my pretty damsel is gone. Where am I going to see her again?
