Age stops boy with As in O’level and high score in Jamb from being admitted The genius can’t be admitted due to his age, he is currently 15 years old and most federal universities can’t admit any candidate below the age of 16 years. Even though the boy cleared all his O’level results with distinctions (A) in his May/June 2018 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and got 332 in 2018 Joint Admission Matriculation Board Examination (JAMB) which can give you any course within the range of your subject combination. The boy who attended Starfield College, Fagba, Iju, Lagos was inspiring to study Medicine at the University of Lagos wasn’t allowed to sit for post UTME examination due to his age. Reports from Sunnewsonline.com shows that his mummy (he lost his daddy when he was at the age of eight and was sponsored by mom and other family members), headmaster, classmates, teachers and family members already believe that the boy should be in 100L by October, they are already wishing him well before admission but were wrong due to the protocol to be followed in all federal universities. They boy has been doing great in his academic since he was in primary school to secondary level and it quite obvious he will be doing well when he gain admission into university. However, Mr. Eigbe who happens to be the director of Studies, Starfield College, Fagba, Iju, Lagos said that most Nigeria’s protocol on education do affect many students a lot, pointing at other developed countries like USA, UK and their likes, said that they don’t admit candidates with age but with their ability and IQ.
