I was on one back in 2003 when i was going from calabar to oron. Well it was a nice experience until the guy stopped in the middle of the water to give key to another boat driver it was as if we were about to sink, it's a nice experience but try and ask 4 a PFD [personal floatation device] if available just 4 safety. |

Ensure u put on a life jacket. The stuff can be scary if u cant swim and have phobia for water; but most importantly pray and believe that nothing will happen. If the captain is experienced he will make it look so good, but just believe that since others have used it b4 without any incident, u will defintely be transported without any incidence. Watch out for the waves from other water vessels. Will make u feel as if u're gonna capsize, but I tell you, YOU WONT. Come back and tell us ur experience. 1 Like |

Life jacket especially if you can't swim. Try not to go out on rough water. . . Me? I'm a water baby so i love it. Try to get on it everytime especially on rough water and the boat starts skidding over water |

I've been on one, if your 'captain' is trained and competent, he will make you feel safe, but drive the boat fast enough for you to enjoy the 'speed'. The main issue is to feel safe which comes from wearing lifejackets for safety, and being alert and accountable for each other. 1 Like |
