Even if they increase their salary to 1m monthly, police always demand for bribe as a free food for their own survival.

Very true as long as Buhari is getting over N1 billion to just eat only in Aso Rock.

Nice one. I love this

Don’t love the mirage.
As long as the total remuneration of the president and other political office holders is not pegged to the total remuneration of civil servants, any increase in minimum wage is a failure that will cause more problems than it solves.

To collect bride is already in their blood, no matter the amount you pay them as salary. Even if u like, give them Helicopter as a patrol Van, they will be collecting bribe from birds that fly across them.
They suppose to appeal for the upward review of minimum wages for the civil servants and not just police

am aware of that but the million dollar question is why is our country still suffering budget deficit??!

It's simple economics.
We suffer it because most of what goes on expenditure is/are unnecessary and we need to cut down on it and focus more on sources of increasing revenue.

A lot of loop holes needs to be plugged in.

Too many waste and unnecessary repetition in the budget. How would you budget for cooking utensils and cutlery every year without going deficit?
Every year they budget for computers in the government house and ministries, yet they are hardly acquired. Lots of corruption in our budget.

We thought PMB was coming to clean all that, but instead his government rename it budget padding. Until all these and the jumbo pay in NASS are eliminated, we will sink deeper into deficit.

Too much.
Restructure the 36 States and let each State take care of motivation and remuneration of her workers.

These thing has an economic and financial effect. Police 100,000 each?! Government will have a lot of debts? well what do I know.

Plus they want to make NYSC 49,500!

it has an effect ,government expenditure will increase there by inflating many goods to meet up with the budget. There by causing our budget to suffer budget deficit

But you don`t say pem when they all collect furniture allowance or increase their own salary. People dey fight better fight for una, una dey talk trash. Would you rather they keep stashing the cash in their duplex?
Mtchew.
