That is the beauty of democracy. This move is strategic because he knows he ain't going nowhere near the presidency but this will give him a high stake,a negotiating advantage to retain his position with automatic ticket and also make input to federal appointment if his party eventually wins.

Exactly... although the road is not so clear here.... Benue delegates, seems to favour Atiku... now that Mark is running, then Atiku's envisaged votes is being decimated.

I think PDP is not looking at the middle belt for a candidate.
Kwankwaso is a better n more preferred candidate.
Although Atiku has been able to play his game well he doesn't really have the popularity of kwankwanso

This is just a game plan hatched at the centre to get the northern votes come 2019.
Watch out as a candidate would lose in the primary and organize his already willing supporters to rather vote for the winner

They all don't understand that it's a ploy to harness all the votes for the candidate that emerges as winner..
