They are very territorial meaning your compound is theirs and will protect it and the occupants at all costs. To make matters worse, they have a very mean look. Doberman and gsd no be mates abeg. The only thing is that gsds are more popular and too common though most of them are fake. Get a good dobbie and have rest of mind. They r.far better than gsds in everything.

I thought thesame thing. I have seen more GSDs in Nigeria than all the dogs in this list, and i am not talking of the crossed breeds we see on Nairaland.

Nice dogs, if I had any of these...I'll keep them indoors, not train them to be violent

The pure breds are great with kids. There are even stories of them protecting kids from their parents during corporal punishment. So I don't know where you got your info from.
