They creep through small holes in the door, windows, climbing up the walls going into sceptic tanks and coming out of the toilets and bathroom. And several attacks have been recorded. The village of Ijegun is a northern suburban community located in Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State , Nigeria. On May 16, 2008, Ijegun was devastated by a massive explosion, That killed over 100 people, after a bulldozer struck and ignited an oil pipeline. Now, there are cries for help again. The reports of snakes slipping into houses is common in Ijegun. And usually bite people that stumble upon or close them. But it is not usually Fatal(suspected to be yellow bellied water snakes, Python and the bush snakes. So, they survive with little or no treatment. When I asked some of the resident and neighbourhood folks why they were repairing the gutter and constructing drainage, Mrs Rotimi Daniel said " if we do not repair the gutter everywhere will be flooded and bad bad thing will be coming out of all this bush and entering people house.
